Project Description: We transformed a historic masonry shell into a branded retail environment while preserving the exposed brick and original character. Scope included selective demolition, new partitions and ceilings, floor leveling, restoration of brick and plaster, ADA-compliant restrooms and fitting rooms, and updated life-safety systems. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing were reworked to support new LED lighting, power distribution, and HVAC performance per brand standards. We coordinated approvals for storefront refinishing and signage with the historic district, installed owner-furnished fixtures and millwork, and managed off-hour deliveries to limit impact along King Street. The result is a clean, modern interior that meets rag & bone’s merchandising requirements while respecting the building’s history.
